President’s DayToday, the third Monday of February, America celebrates President’s Day. President’s Day is a tribute and a memorial to the office of President of the United States. Traditionally the holiday was observed in memory of George Washington (2/22) and Abraham Lincoln (2/12), both of whom were born in February. Today the national holiday recognizes the tremendous contribution of all 43 presidents who have shaped the history and destiny of our nation.
