{"id":1922,"date":"2013-02-08T17:02:33","date_gmt":"2013-02-08T21:02:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karatetraining.org\/weblog\/?p=1922"},"modified":"2023-04-11T15:16:47","modified_gmt":"2023-04-11T19:16:47","slug":"a-diet-that-gives-real-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karatetraining.org\/weblog\/a-diet-that-gives-real-results\/","title":{"rendered":"A diet that gives real results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I have been watching what I eat for the past 3-4 months.\u00a0 Over that time I have lost a few and gained a few pounds.\u00a0 Overall my weight is down about 5 pounds.\u00a0 Honestly I am only have about ten pounds of fat to loose, some of that weight needs to be converted.\u00a0 I know this has some people rolling their eyes in disgust.\u00a0 The truth is I could just as easily tell you I was 100 pounds over weight and that I had lost 90 pounds, it doesn&#8217;t really matter.\u00a0 The fact is losing weight is difficult no matter what your start weight.\u00a0 The only way to lose weight is the hard way.\u00a0 Yes we all know that 20 year old that can shed 20 pounds in a week, that isn&#8217;t normal and they will pay for it when they are 40!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1944\" alt=\"abs-waistline\" src=\"https:\/\/karatetraining.org\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/abs-waistline.jpg\" width=\"239\" height=\"159\" \/>I need to say that again.\u00a0 The only way to lose weight is the hard way.\u00a0 You see it is simple math, (there go those eye rolls again!), our bodies are pretty simple machines when you ignore all the complexity.\u00a0 Our metabolism burns so many calories everyday regardless of our activity, if we are not doing much that is all we need to take in to &#8220;maintain&#8221; our weight.
