{"id":2901,"date":"2021-12-23T08:33:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T13:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/karatetraining.org\/weblog\/?p=2901"},"modified":"2023-04-11T15:15:54","modified_gmt":"2023-04-11T19:15:54","slug":"10-rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karatetraining.org\/weblog\/10-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"10 Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With great power comes great responsibility and hopefully a good dose of common-sense!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I thought these were worth sharing during this Christmas Season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall never invite trouble through uncalled for looks, remarks, or actions.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall make every effort to smile and talk, and not fight my way out of trivial situations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall never become involved in the domestic quarrels of my neighbors.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall ignore the ranting of a rowdy, belligerent person, drunk or otherwise.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall never start a fight with a weaker person just to assert my own physical superiority.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall steer clear of trouble prone areas, or walk away from such areas at the first sight of trouble.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall curb my impetuousness and be extremely hesitant in using dangerous counters even in my own defense.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall endure rigorous training to strengthen my spirit and body but as my strength increases I shall seek to cultivate a gentle heart.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I shall endeavor through these arts to develop tolerance, patience, diligence, and an upright state of mind.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Henceforth, I shall train in the spirit of humility.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Credit: The archived site of: http:\/\/www.oocities.org\/Aoinagikaratedo\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With great power comes great responsibility and hopefully a good dose of common-sense!
