This kick requires considerable flexibility especially in the hip joint.  Many people online who haven&#8217;t practiced this kick seem to think this isn&#8217;t a very effective kick, they are wrong.  For the very flexible this is a kick that can be done standing toe-to-toe with an opponent which can catch them by surprise.  It is also a kick that can be used in combat.
