When I was a younger lad in High School I had one rule, and I would share it with my anyone looking for trouble. My rule was I don’t stay down and if by chance you can keep me down, I will find you at the urinal and finish what has begin. Funny thing, you only need to prove this once before people take you seriously. Fortunately I never had to find anyone at the urinal, but I would have. Sounds harsh but it is a winners mentality. (P.S. my rule only applied to street fights, not ring matches.)

Everyone falls down. Everyone fails at some point. Everyone has flaws. Everyone is a coward in the wrong situation. Everyone is a hero in the right situation. Everyone makes a fool of themselves. Basically everyone is human!

If you focus on the Fall, Fail, Flaws you can never grow or achieve. If you quit, you are accepting you are that Fall, Fail, Flaw and will never be anything more.

Here is a great example of Never Quitting.
In 2008, Heather Dorniden, an accomplished University of Minnesota Track runner, proved that success and failure are not measured by how you fall, but by how you pick yourself up.

Heather Dorniden in 2008

Heather Dorniden was leading the pack during the final heat of the 600-meter race at the Big Ten Indoor Track Championships. There was about 200 meters of the race to go when She tripped, with a hard face plant. Instead of accepting defeat and quitting, Heather jumped back to her feet and began sprinting around the track, rapidly gaining speed. Amazingly Heather Dorniden managed to speed past her competitors, crossing the finish line in first place! Heather recalled “I knew team points were close, so there was never any doubt that I would finish the race,” in an interview.

One of my favorite Movie quotes is from Batman’s Alfred Pennyworth: We fall so we can learn to pick ourselves up!
