The Myth
EntertainmentJackie Chan’s latest martial arts blockbuster The Myth held a grand premiere ceremony on Tuesday evening at Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The film is about the discovery by an archaeologist of the mausoleum built by China’s first emperor Qin Shihuang in 221 BC.
This isn’t your typical Jackie Chan movie, this is an epic period piece starring Jackie Chan. This doesn’t mean there won’t be any action! During the filming 22 people were sent to hospital from injuries sustained in action scenes. “You see empty horse go by and you look back and yell, ‘Ambulance! Ambulance!’ ” Chan said. Tired of Hollywood politics and the reprising fish-out-of-water roles Hollywood presented him with Jackie returned to Hong Kong. Way to go Hollywood! Well we haven’t even seen this movie yet and KarateTraining.org is going to endorse it right now. We’re sure this is going to another classic Jackie Chan hit that we are waiting on, especially the out takes! Seems a portion of the film was filmed in very frigid conditions.
