I really enjoyed this post, it was a good mental exercise, it reminds us to take a deep cleansing breath and re-focus in order to see things how they should be.
In case you don’t want to turn your monitor upside down…;-)
when training or doing some simple tasks our mind can get in our way. up can become down and down can become up. why is this? we need to relax. we need to let go. we need to stop forcing things and let them develop naturally. if you think for a moment the best things in your life just happened. from falling in love to perfecting a kata, once you stopped trying things just seemed to fall into place.
of course it isn’t that easy, we do need to ”try” but stay relaxed and let things flow. no matter how hard you try this is something you will have to work all your life. but don’t despair, like learning to walk, run, ride a bike, once you relax and let go there isn’t anything you can not accomplish.
breath that is the beginning.
