Others more serious might say something like, “When I met you you kicked me in the heart. I can’t believe I’m so lucky to have a badass love like you. Better but still probably not what the girl of your dreams wants to hear…
Valentine’s Day is all about Love. Most guys don’t like using that word and probably equate it to a chick flick phrase. Poor schmucks. Love used correctly is actually a very masculine word. The purpose of Valentine’s Day is to celebrate and remember Saint Valentine, a Real Man who was imprisoned for marrying Christian couples. He was later executed (martyred) for his refusing to renounce his beliefs.
How does this embody Masculine love? Masculine love protects at all costs, something most Martial Artists should understand.
Love like the Martial Arts is a long-term commitment! Lust fades, Love lasts, keep that in mind.
Love like Martial Arts skills take commitment and nurturing. If you take either for granted both will decay!
For those without Love in there life, it will come. You need to be open to it and prepare for it. Love like the Martial Arts take preparation and training for the inevitable. One we yearn for the other we hope to be we are up to the task, I’ll let you decide which applies to which!
