High-Tech Security

I practice High-Tech Security:

I have six locks on my door all in a row.  When I go out, I lock every other one.  I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three!

While this is meant as a joke, there is a lot of common sense in this approach which is something most people forget when thinking of security or problem solving in general.
