To perform the power pushup exercise you should use a firm cushion as pictured. A couch cushion will do in a pinch. Start with a closed fist pushup position and execute as depicted below. When you strike you want to hit with your full power. Always return to a good start position form. This exercise will increase the power of your punch through a strong core and muscle memory of the punch technique.
